In spite of the storm the night before, the bad weather stayed away and although the skies were initially overcast, the ride back to Konstanz stayed dry and the day even brightened up so that by the time we reached Konstanz, the skies were blue and it was quite warm.

After one more overnight in the Hotel Viva, we had a leisurely breakfast before setting off on the road home. The drive was quite relaxed, thanks to the fact that it was a Saturday and so not too much traffic on the autobahns and we arrived home safe and sound around 15:30, sorry that the trip was over but all in all, glad to be back.... after all, there's no place like home !
