At last.... blue skies and sunshine! We had been warned that there would be a diversion on the route due to Dike maintenance. We found ourselves behind a guided tour group, the guide obviously hadn't been informed about the diversion as they rode around the barrier and carried straight on. Once again we came upon a wild sand dune beach area and all the locals were out making the most of the sunshine.

Arriving in the town of Haamstede, we walked through the town which pretty much consisted of one shopping street. We found a bike shop and bought some chain oil and Darrell found a shirt that he really liked. Back at the hotel, we ordered half a liter of wine with our dinner. Unfortunately the waitress thought we wanted half a liter each! Needless to say we slept well that night!
